NEW DELHI: The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has issued the CLAT 2023 admit card today, at 6 pm. Candidates can download the admit card of CLAT 2023 only after giving the admission preferences to national law universities (NLUs). The CLAT admit card 2023 is available on the official website of consortium - consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The direct link to download CLAT admit card is given below. The CLAT 2023 exam will be held on December 18, 2022, in offline mode. CLAT 2023 scores will be accepted by 22 national law universities and over 60 law schools across the country.

Candidates must add at least five preferences while selecting NLUs. There is no outer limit to the number of preferences that may be filled. It should be noted that candidates will be considered for admission to the NLUs selected by them while giving college preferences. They will not be selected for other remaining NLUs even if some seats are vacant in such NLUs and candidates have a higher rank than the cut-offs.

The law entrance exam will be held in around 130 cities across the country. Candidates appearing in the examination must have a valid CLAT admit card 2023 and a government-issued ID card. NUJS, Kolkata offers a total of 132 seats in its BA LLB programme and 85 seats in its one year LLM programme through CLAT 2023 exam.

NLU Jodhpur seat intake capacity of all the two undergraduate degree programmes BBA LLB (Hons), BA LLB (Hons) put together is 104 students + 16 (NRI)/NRI Sponsored). The university offers 60 seats in its one year LLM programme.

There are 22 NLUs and nearly 60 private institutes participating in CLAT 2023
Candidates appearing for CLAT 2023 should carry the following items to their examination hall.

Candidates with complete CLAT registration 2023 will only be able to download their CLAT 2023 admit card. The application forms without fee payment will not be issued the admit card by the consortium of NLUs.
As per the notification of consortium of NLUs CLAT 2023 is scheduled to be held on December 18, 2022. There are no chances for CLAT 2023 to get postponed. Candidates are left with a very few days to prepare and revise for their exam. Refer previous year question papers or attempt sample papers for effective exam preparation.

The National Law School of India University (NLSIU) has increased the BA LLB and LLM seats again this year. As per the official brochure released by the university, it will offer 240 seats in BA LLB and 100 seats in the LLM programme. Last year, the university offered 180 seats in BA LLB and 70 seats in LLM programme.
The total seats for UG programme offered by NLUs through CLAT 2023 are 3175, out of which 1714 are all India seats. However, total seats for LLM programme offered by NLUs through CLAT 2023 are 1132. Candidates will be given option to choose their preferred NLU for admission. The final admission will be based on performance in CLAT 2023 exam and candidate's preference.

The consortium has released two sample papers for CLAT 2023. The third sample paper will also be released soon on the official website of CLAT 2023. The CLAT sample papers are important preparation materials for the examination. Candidates are advised to practice them multiple times to make themselves familiar with the actual test.
