The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT 2026) exam dates for MBA and PGDM admission. The CMAT 2026 will be conducted on January 25 for a duration of three hours.

The computer-based CMAT 2026 examination will be held in various cities across the country. The question paper for the admission test will be in English.
The exam conducting authority will issue the CMAT 2026 exam city slip soon on its official portal at cmat.nta.nic.in.
The CMAT exam centres will be allotted to candidates in the city of their first preference, as mentioned in the CMAT 2026 application form.
The CMAT admit card is expected to be issued in the second week of January 2026.

As per the exam pattern, the CMAT question paper comprises logical reasoning, language comprehension, general awareness, quantitative techniques and data interpretation, and innovation and entrepreneurship.
The CMAT exam consists of 100 questions carrying a total of 400 marks. According to the CMAT marking scheme, +4 marks will be given for each correct answer, and -1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

Recently, NTA closed the CMAT application form correction window on November 28. The registration process for CMAT 2026 closed on November 24.
CMAT is a national-level business aptitude test conducted by NTA for admissions to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) courses.
Last year, 74,012 candidates registered for the exam, of which 63,145 took the exam, resulting in an overall attendance rate of 85.32%.
