CS Exam 2020: ICSI releases SOP for the safe conduct of exams

ICSI has released the SOP for CS exam 2020. Candidates should follow the ICSI CS exam guidelines strictly.
NEW DELHI: The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has released the SOP for CS exam 2020 containing instructions for exam centres and students. Students should follow the given instructions to avoid the spread of COVID19 at exam centres.
ICSI CS exam 2020 is scheduled to be held between December 21 to 30, 2020. Below are the general CS exam guidelines for students
CS Exam 2020 General Instructions

Candidates should follow the Physical distancing of at least 6 feet while appearing for ICSI CS Dec 2020 exam. Each examination hall will have 12 candidates instead of 25 to maintain social distancing.

Use of face masks/ covers is mandatory for all students/ invigilator

It is important to wash hands with soap or use sanitizer regularly.

Candidates have to submit a “Self Declaration” regarding the health status to the Superintendent of Examinations.

It is important to cover your mouth while coughing and sneezing. Spitting is strictly prohibited.

CS Exam 2020- Measures for Examination centres

The examination centres will be located outside containment zones.

The entry of candidates will be done in a staggered manner and will begin one hour before the exam starts.

The number of examination centres has been increased from 172 to 262 to maintain adequate social distancing.

Arrangements for items such as face masks, sanitizers, soap etc will be made at the examination centres.
ICSI CS Exam 2020- Instructions for Students

The late fee for submission of the examination fee was waived off earlier.

Candidates enrolled for the June 2020 examination were allowed to carry forward their examination fee credit to December 2020 exam.

Students enrolled for ICSI June 2020 were allowed to reap all benefits and change their examination centre, the medium of exam etc without any extra fee.

One more attempt was given to students for June 2021 session applicants under the 20212 syllabus of Executive & Professional Program

To prevent crowding of students, new centres have been opened at the following places.
