CSBC Bihar Police Constable recruitment 2025 application starts for 19,838 posts; apply by April 18

NEW DELHI : The Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC) Bihar has started the registration for the CSBC Bihar Police Constable posts. Eligible candidates can apply for CSBC Bihar police constable recruitment 2025 through the official website, csbc.bihar.gov.in. The last date for online application is April 18.

The CSBC recruitment 2025 drive aims to fill a total of 19,838 vacancies. Candidates whose applications are accepted will be selected through a written exam. As per the CSBC notice, the selection for the vacancies of district Police and Bihar Special Armed Police will be made accordingly.

Candidates who have passed Class 12 or have a Maulvi certificate issued by Madrasa Board of Bihar State or Shastri with English, or Acharya certificate issued by Sanskrit Board of Bihar State or any other equivalent educational qualification recognized by the State Government as of April 18, are eligible to apply.

Bihar Police Constable recruitment 2025 selection process

Candidates will be allowed to give their preference for the respective units in Bihar Police and Bihar Special Armed Police vacancies. On being selected for recruitment, the priority given by the candidate as per the merit list will be considered.

The CSBC Bihar Police constable recruitment 2025 written exam consists of 100 marks having 100 questions. Candidates will be given two hours to complete the exam. For every correct answer candidates will be given one mark. In the second stage, a physical efficiency test will be held and candidates will be shortlisted five times the number of vacancies available.

The final merit list for selection for appointment to the post of constable will be prepared based on total marks obtained in all three tests including running, shot put , and high jump under the physical efficiency test.

The CSBC Bihar Police constable recruitment 2025 application fee for candidates from SC and ST categories, female candidates from all categories, and transgender candidates from Bihar is Rs 180, while other category candidates have to pay Rs 675 as an applicable fee.
