Subscribe NowNEW DELHI: The Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC), Bihar has issued the notification for the Bihar Police constable recruitment 2025. The Bihar Police constable 2025 registration process will begin on March 18. Eligible candidates will be able to register for the Bihar Police constable 2025 recruitment exam through the official website, csbc.bihar.gov.in.
The CSBC Bihar Police constable registration portal will remain open till April 18. The selection board aims to fill a total of 19,383 vacancies for Bihar Police constable posts. Out of these, 6,717 posts are reserved for the female candidates and 397 for dependents of freedom fighters (FFW).
To register for the CSBC Bihar Police constable exam 2025, candidates from the scheduled caste (SC) and scheduled tribe (ST) categories will have to pay an application fee of Rs 180. Female candidates from all categories who are natives of Bihar, as well as transgender candidates, are also required to pay Rs 180. For all other categories, the application fee is Rs 675.
Bihar Police Constable Registration 2025: Eligibility criteria
The eligibility criteria for the CSBC Bihar Police constable 2025 exam is given below.
- Age Limit: Candidates' age should be between 18 years old and 25 years old. To determine the age limit, the minimum age will be considered as of August 1, 2025.
- Educational Qualification: To be eligible for the post of constable, candidates must have passed Intermediate, Class 12 or possess a Maulvi certificate issued by the Bihar State Madarsa Board. Candidates with a Shastri certificate (with English) or an Acharya certificate (without English) issued by the Bihar State Sanskrit Board, or any other equivalent qualification recognised by the state government, will also be eligible.
