Joint CSIR UGC NET 2023: The last date to make edits in the application form is December 8. The correction window will be available at csirnet.nta.ac.in.
NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will open the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research University Grants Commission - National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET) December 2023 correction window today. Candidates will be able to edit the CSIR Joint UGC NET application form at the official website, csirnet.nta.ac.in.
The NTA has recently extended the CSIR NET form deadline and announced a two day period for correction. CSIR NET exam will be held in computer-based test (CBT) on December 26, 27 and 28.
After the edit facility closes, the NTA will issue the CSIR UGC NET admit card. “In case of any discrepancy in the particulars of the candidate or his/her photograph and signatures shown in the Admit Card and Confirmation Page, the candidate may immediately approach the Helpline between 9:30 am and 5:30 pm,” the testing agency said.
CSIR NET Application 2023: What can you edit?
Candidates can edit the following details in the application form.
- Name - spelling mistakes in the name of candidate and personal details.
- Contact details - address details can be edited.
- Category - recent category certificate and PwD status certificate issued by the competent authority.
- Educational qualification details - Marksheet, can edit passing year and school board name.
- Date of birth.
- Choice of exam cities - Candidates will have to select four cities as per their preferences.
CSIR NET document required
Applicants will have to upload the following documents and make sure all the required documents are submitted.
- Type of Identification – Bank account passbook with photograph, passport number,
- ration card, Aadhaar card number, voter ID card number, or other government ID.
- Qualifying degree certificate or last semester marks sheet.
- Mailing address as well as permanent address with pin code
- Code of Joint CSIR-UGC NET subject
- Category certificate.
- Self-declaration minority community certificate
- Result awaited certificate, if applicable
- Economically Weaker Section (EWS) certificate, if applicable
- Person with Disability (PwD) certificate, if applicable
- Scanned images in JPG format - Photograph file size should be between 10 kb to 200 kb.
- Signature file size should be between 4 kb to 30 kb.
