CTET 2024 answer key objection window closes today; challenge fee, marking scheme

NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will close the objection window against the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 December answer key. Candidates who are not satisfied with the solutions can raise objections against the CTET 2024 December session answer key through the official website at ctet.nic.in.

Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as registration number and date of birth along with the supporting documents to raise objections against the CTET 2024 answer key.

Candidates can use the CTET 2024 answer key to check their probable scores in the exam. Candidates will be awarded 1 mark for each correct answers and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers. The CTET 2024 results are expected to be announced around January 6.

The CTET 2024 exam was conducted on December 14, 2024. The exam was in two shifts from 9:30 am to 12 noon and the from 2:30 am to 5 pm.

CTET 2024 answer key objection fee

Candidates will have to pay Rs 1,000 per objection to challenge the CTET 2024 December session answer key. The CTET 2024 answer key objection link will remain active on the official website till 11:59 pm.

"There is a provision for the candidates to challenge the answer keys through the link available on the website https://ctet.nic.in/ from 01/01/2025 to 05/01/2025 (upto 11:59PM). A fee of Rs. 1000/- per question is required to be submitted through credit/debit card. The fee once paid is non-refundable. If the challenge is accepted by the Board i.e. if any mistake is noticed by the subject experts in the answer key, a policy decision will be notified and the fee shall be refunded", official notice read.

If the challenge is accepted by the board, a policy decision will be notified and the fee shall be refunded. The refund will be transferred online to the concerned credit or debit card account. The decision of the board on the challenges will be final and no further requests will be entertained.
