NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has begun the application correction process for the Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 today, October 21. Eligible candidates who fill out the CTET 2024 application form can make corrections to it through the official website, ctet.nic.in.

Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as application number and password to edit the CTET 2024 application form. Students will be able to make corrections in an online mode when CBSE activates an online application correction window link on its official website. The last date to edit the CTET December 2024 application form is October 25.

The CTET 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on December 14 which was earlier scheduled for December 15. However, the board has notified that if the number of candidates in a particular city is higher, the CTET December 2024 exam may be held on December 15 as well.

The test will be conducted in two separate shifts. The morning shift will take place from 9:30 am to 12 pm and the second shift will be held from 2:30 pm to 5 pm.

CTET December 2024: Editable fields

As per the official notice, candidates will be allowed to make online corrections in particulars, including their name, father’s name, mother’s name, and date of birth. Corrections can also be made in the category they belong to, the differently-abled category, and the paper they have opted for, either Paper 1 or Paper II, subject to the availability of capacity in the chosen city.

Additionally, candidates can correct the subject for Paper 2, the language selected for language 1 and/or language 2, their correspondence address, and the name of the institution, college, or university from which they obtained their Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree or Diploma in Elementary Education.
