NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the CTET January 2024 Paper 1 and 2 tomorrow. Candidates who have not downloaded the CTET 2024 January admit card can visit the official website, ctet.nic.in. The board has uploaded the topic-wise questions on pdf format of the official portal in English as well as Hindi.

The CTET Paper 1 will have five sections – child development and pedagogy, language 1, language 2, mathematics and environmental studies.

Child development and pedagogy section will have 15 questions related to child development: primary school child. Five and 10 questions in the section will be regarding the concept of inclusive education and understanding children with special needs, and learning and pedagogy, respectively.

The language 1 and language 2 sections will have 15 questions each related to language comprehension and pedagogy of language development. The mathematics and environmental studies sections will have 15 questions each of content and pedagogical issues.

CTET Paper 2 sub-sections

The CTET Paper 2 question pattern for child development and pedagogy, language 1, language 2 sections will be the same as in CTET Paper 1. The CTET Paper 2 will have a maths and science section for teachers applying for science teachers. The paper will have a social science section for teachers applying for social science teachers’ posts.
