All the universities that participated in the previous year's CUET UG are invited by UGC to accept the CUET UG scores. A total of 232 universities utilised CUET UG scores for their undergraduate admissions.

To complete the application form for CUET UG 2024, candidates must enter the login details sent to their registered email ID.

The registration for CUET UG 2024 will close on March 26, 2024, at 11.50 PM. Once the registration process is completed, candidates will not have the option to fill the CUET UG 2024 registration form again.

Candidates must make sure that all of the information they provide on their CUET online application form, such as their name, mother's name, father's name, gender, date of birth, category, PwBD status, phone number, email address, signature, photo, and preferred cities for the exam centre is true and belongs to them.

The CUET UG exam, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), will be held in a hybrid mode and consist of four sections. The question paper for CUET will be in English and consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

The CUET UG 2024 exam will be conducted on multiple days, with two or three shifts per day, depending on the number of candidates and their subject combinations.

While filling the CUET 2024 application form, candidates will have to upload the documents as per the specified format.

The CUET 2024 exam will be held for a total of 61 subjects - 33 languages, 27 domain specific and 1 general test. Candidates can choose a maximum of 6 test papers for the CUET UG exam 2024. 

The NTA will conduct the CUET 2024 exam of language subjects for 45 minutes. For subjects like Accountancy, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Computer Science / Informatics Practises, Mathematics / Applied Mathematics, and General Test. The CUET UG exam 2024 will be held for 60 minutes.  

Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University and The English and Foreign Languages University will start offering admissions for UG programmes based on the CUET UG 2024 scores. CUET 2024 offers admissions in 46 central universities across India.

Candidates can choose up to 4 cities to appear for the CUET exam 2024, while filling the CUET 2024 application form. 

The NTA has reduced the number of CUET exam centres 2024 to 380.  Now, there are 354 exam centres within India and 26 exam centres outside India.

The CUET 2024 exam will be moderate in difficulty-level to reduce the dependency on coaching centres, the UGC chairman said. The CUET UG question paper 2024 will be moderate "because students are more likely to perceive it as a fair and manageable challenge", he added. 

The UGC chairman M Jagadesh Kumar while speaking to the PTI said that the National Testing Agency will be mostly conducting the exams for a subject in a single day, eliminating the need for normalisation of NTA scores. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to start the CUET registration 2024 anytime soon at cuet.samarth.ac.in, in online mode. Students can register online for CUET 2024 till the last date of CUET UG registration 2024.

The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) exam is likely to be conducted in hybrid mode to allow students to appear for the exam closer to home, particularly in rural areas to offer admissions to central universities and other private universities for UG programmes.

• The NTA is likely to conduct the CUET 2024 exam in hybrid mode for the subjects with more than 1.5 lakh registrations in the past, now the exam will be conducted in OMR sheets.  

• The CUET 2024 exam is likely to be held in a single shift. This means the normalisation process will not be required to calculate the scores.

• The number of papers a candidate can attempt has been reduced to six. So, now the students can choose 4 domain papers, 1 language paper, and 1 general test paper, or 3 domain papers, 2 language papers, and 1 general test paper

The NTA is likely to start the CUET 2024 application process soon on the official website at cuet.samarth.ac.in. Candidates can apply for CUET 2024 by filling the application form in online mode.
