As per the CUET marking scheme, negative marking of -1 mark will be applicable for every incorrect answer, and five marks will be given for every correct answer.

CUET UG 2025 day 3 shift 2 exam will begin at 12 pm today and end at 1 pm. The shift 3 exam will  commence at 3 pm today and entry for candidates will begin at 1 pm. Candidates are advised to reach exam centre before time to avoid any last minute hassle.

Candidates appearing for the CUET UG 2025 are advised to reach exam centre at least 2 hours before the exam begins. NTA will not be responsible for any delay caused due to traffic jams, bus or train delays. However, students who reach the centre late are likely to miss instructions announced in the exam hall. Delhi students reported technical and logistical chaos at a centre in Rohini on Tuesday while several candidates missed the exam at a centre in Noida after they reached late due to traffic snarls, the PTI said. "Lot of students missed CUET UG history paper today at iON DIgital Zone, Sector 62,Noida due to high handness of staff . Entry denied exactly at 2.30 PM.  not a single minute relaxation given . Give them a chance or their full year will be ruined," a student posted on X.

The NTA will now conduct the CUET UG shift 2 exams from 12 noon to 1 pm. Students appearing in the second shift today are required to reach the exam centre before 11.30 pm to avoid last-minute difficulties. "The English exam was not tough, but average. It included passages, antonyms, and more. I haven't thought much about it yet, but I'm considering applying to Delhi University," said Sia, who attempted English exam.

Students can opt for programmes different from the class 12 syllabus. Though students are required to fulfill the criteria of CUET 2025 UG exam to be able to get admission in the desired programmes. According to the criteria for eligibility in CUET 2025,  students of General category must score at least 50% and students who belong to SC/ST category should at least score 45% in the Class 12 board examination.

The duration of CUET exam is 45 minutes. The exam is conducted in three sections, each sections is for 50 marks.  First section is of Languages, it is divided into two categories first is IA, includes 13 languages and second is IB, includes 20 languages which are different from LA section. Then in second section is Domain, from 27 subjects specific maximum six domain subjects should be chosen. In last section, that is third section is General test. This general test is as per the respective university norm used for admission.

The CUET 2025 UG exam has just begun but last year, CUET 2024 UG exam, mathematics paper had easy and moderate level questions. Questions on Matrices and Probability were more. Derivatives and Linear were asked in both theoretical and applied mathematics. Integrals and Differential Equations were moderately covered, while topics like Statistics, Continuity and Differentiability, and 3D Geometry received reasonable number of questions. And from topics like Mensuration, Linear Inequalities, and Pipe and Cisterns few questions were covered.

CUET 2025 examination has a wide scope, so finding the right book for preparing for the exam is very necessary. The best books to that could be preferred to prepare for the exam are NCERT books. The reason is that these books help to develop basics, and then students can further practice solving questions or get more advanced books for reference.

Both the CUET and NEET exams have similar eligibility criteria, that is, after completing Class 12 boards. Although the NEET exam is centralised, CUET is more of a university-based exam. Also, there is a difference in the syllabus of NEET and CUET examinations. The CUET exam only covers the Class 12 syllabus but includes other sections like general knowledge, english language, and reasoning, while NEET covers the entire Class 11 and 12 NCERT syllabus.

The CUET exam has a strict dress code where heavy clothes with long sleeves are not permitted. However, in case, a candidate comes to the exam centre in cultural/ customary dress, then must report to a centre at least two hours before so that there is enough for proper frisking, to avoid any inconvenience to the candidate. Slippers and sandals are allowed with low heels, but shoes are not permitted.

The admit cards for the CUET 2025 UG exam have been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The admit cards for May 13 to May 16 exams can be downloaded directly from the official website.

The CUET UG 2025 exam will be conducted in online mode as a Computer-Based Test (CBT), but it will be held at designated centers. The exam will take place at over 380 test centers across India and 26 international locations—remote or at-home testing is not allowed. To ensure accessibility and convenience for candidates the centers are spread across tier 1, tier 2, and tier 3 cities.

The CUET UG May 13 shift 2 entry began at 10 am. Students with valid CUET admit card and photo ID will be allowed to enter the exam hall after proper frisking and verification. The entry gates will be closed at 11.30 am.

The CUET UG 2025 was originally set to start on May 8. However, given the number of texts and the complexity of coordination, the NTA was not prepared on time. The exam was postponed to May 13. Then, it was postponed again but in 15 cities due to the India-Pakistan conflict which disrupted education in several states.

CUET UG exam 2025 is held for 37 subjects - 13 languages, 23 subject-domain paper and one general aptitude test.

The CUET UG question paper 2025 will have 50 questions. Each correct answer will be awarded five marks and one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. The total marks for CUET UG 2025 is 250 .

The NTA will conduct the CUET UG shift 2 exams from 12 noon to 1 pm. The entry gates for middle shift will commence at 10 am. Students allotted second shift will have carry the hall ticket, valid photo ID, self-declaration form, and two photographs.

Day 1 and shift 1 of the Common University Entrance Test - Undergraduate (CUET UG 2025) begins at 9 am.

No. Calculators are not allowed inside CUET UG exam centre. Students will have to do all calculations and writing work in the rough sheet provided at the test centre. Upon completion of the test, candidates are required to hand over the rough sheets to the invigilator on duty in the room hall.

CUET self-declaration form 2025 can be downloaded along with the admit card. It is mandatory document to be submitted at the time of document verification. Students are required to fill the undertaking form with details of their recent travel and mention if they have any symptoms of COVID-19 or any other disease. They will also have to paste passport size photograph and put thumb-impression in the space provided.

• Two passport-size photograph for pasting on the attendance sheet
• Original valid ID proof.
• Sugar tablets, fruits like banana, apple, orange, in case the candidate is diabetic.
• PwD certificate, if a candidate is claiming relaxation under the category.

The total number of subjects offered through CUET UG 2025 is 37. This includes 13 languages, 23 domain-specific subjects, and one General Aptitude Test.
