CUET 2025 Registration LIVE: Exam date, application form at cuet.nta.nic.in soon; syllabus, NTA updates

A total of 287 universities are expected to accept CUET UG 2025 scores. 

The following details and documents will be required during CUET UG 2025 registration

• Valid email address and phone number
• Class 10 and 12 mark sheets and certificate
• Scanned photograph
• Scanned copy of signature 
• Date of birth certificate
• Category certificate (if applicable) in PDF
• Bank account details for fee payments.

The NTA has not yet announced the CUET UG 2025 registration dates. The CUET UG 2025 registration is expected to commence in the first week of March, as per past trends. Last year, the CUET UG registration commenced on February 27. 

Around 14 lakh unique registrations were recorded for CUET UG last year. The NTA conducted the CUET exam in hybrid mode for 14,99,790 unique registered candidates. Date-wise number of registered and appeared candidates. 

The NTA will host the CUET UG application form 2025 on the official website, cuet.nta.nic.in. As per CUET registration date past trends, the form is expected to be out soon. Take a look at when the NTA published the CUET form 2025 in the last three years.

The NTA has not announced the CUET exam date 2025 yet. However, the UG entrance exam is likely to be held in May, as per reports.  

The NTA will revert back to computer-based test (CBT) for the CUET exam 2025. Last year, the testing agency held in exam in hybrid mode to accommodate more students from rural areas to participate in the national-level entrance exam. However, the exam had to be rescheduled due to several "unavoidable reasons".

The CUET question paper 2025 will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The CUET syllabus for the domain-specific subject will be based on the curriculum prescribed for the particular paper in the qualifying exam. CUET UG syllabus for general test and language section is given below. 

General Test - General Knowledge, Current Affairs, General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Quantitative Reasoning, Logical and Analytical Reasoning. Quantitative reasoning section will assess students’ knowledge in basic mathematical concepts arithmetic, algebra, geometry, mensuration, and statistics.

Language - This section will have reading comprehension based on different types of passages – factual, literary and narrative, and literary aptitude and vocabulary.

The application form for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET 2025) for undergraduate (UG) admissions is expected to be out soon. Students desirous of pursuing BA, BCom, BSc courses in the participating universities will have to qualify the computer-based test (CBT) likely to be held in May.
