NEW DELHI: The Common University Entrance Test (CUET 2023) for postgraduate admission in central and participating universities is expected to be held in the first or second week of June, the UGC chairman M Jagadesh Kumar said.

“Next week, NTA will announce CUET PG 2023 test dates and application dates. CUET-PG is expected to be held in the first/second week of June 2023,” Kumar said.
The National Testing Agency on Friday announced CUET UG 2023 exam dates along with the annual exam calendar for the upcoming academic year 2023-24. According to schedule, CUET UG 2023 exam will be held from May 21 to 31, 2023. The CUET UG 2023 application form will be released by the NTA on the official website, cuet.samarth.ac.in.
The UGC chairman informed that CUET UG 2023 results are planned to be announced in the third week of June 2023 and those of CUET PG 2023 in the first week of July 2023.
CUET PG 2022 application form and eligibility will be announced soon on the official website, cuet.nta.nic.in.
The NTA announced the exam schedule of national-level exams in advance for the upcoming year to avoid confusion caused last year due to exam dates clash and repeated postponement.

The debut edition of CUET UG, PG was marred with glitches prompting the NTA to cancel exams at multiple centres. While several students were informed about cancellation a night before the exam, many of them were turned away from centres citing cancellations.
With 14.9 lakh registrations, the CUET, the common gateway for undergraduate admissions in all central universities, is now the second biggest entrance exam in the country, surpassing JEE-Main's average registration of nine lakh. NEET-UG is the single largest entrance test in India with an average of 18 lakh registrations.
