CUET PG 2024: Exam begins today; prohibited items, timings, guidelines

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will begin the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) PG Examination 2024 today, March 11. The CUET PG 2024 will conclude on March 28. The CUET PG 2024 exam will be held in online mode as a computer-based test. The duration of the exam is 105 minutes.

The CUET PG 2024 exam will be held in three sessions: first from 9:00 am to 10:45 am, second session from 12:45 pm to 2:30 pm, and third from 4:30 pm to 6:15 pm. Candidates should reach the CUET PG 2024 exam center 90 minutes before the commencement of exam to avoid any delay.

The CUET PG exam 2024 will consist of multiple-choice questions only. There will be a total of 75 questions in the CUET PG 2024 question paper. The paper carries a total of 300 marks. Candidates will earn 4 marks for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for incorrect answer. The qualifying marks for CUET PG 2024 is 45%.

CUET PG 2024: Exam day guidelines

Candidates appearing for the CUET PG 2024 exam can have a look at the guidelines and debarred items inside the exam hall.

• Candidates should not bring any food items inside the exam hall.
• It is mandatory for the candidates to bring their CUET PG 2024 admit card and a valid photo ID.
• Electronics such as moibile phones, smart watches, calculators, Bluetooth earphones are not allowed inside the exam hall.
• Candidates should not carry any notes, textbooks, or stationary items other than a ball point pen.
• To claim relaxation, candidates should show their valid PwD certificates.
• Do not cheat by having another person take the exam for you or by copying.
• Do not assist others in cheating or accept assistance for yourself.
• During the examination, do not speak with anybody other than the invigilator.
• Avoid using any deceptive approaches throughout the exam.
