CUET PG 2025 begins today; timings, must-carry items, NTA's rules on unfair means

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the Common University Entrance Test- Postgraduate (CUET PG) 2025 exams from today, March 13. A total of 4,12,024 unique candidates are expected to appear for CUET PG 2025 exam. The CUET PG 2025 exam is scheduled to be held in 3 shifts each day.

According to CUET PG exam timings 2025, morning shift will be conducted from 9 am to 10:30 am, afternoon shift from 12:30 pm to 2 pm and evening shift from 4 pm to 5:30 pm. NTA has introduced mutiple changes in CUET PG exam 2025 including the paper pattern, number of papers, fee, exam duration, and exam centres.
The CUET PG 2025 exams will be conducted in 312 exam centres. The CUET PG 2025 exams will be held for 157 subjects. Around 190 universities are expected to accept CUET PG 2025 scores for admissions.
The CUET PG 2025 exam will conclude on April 1. According to the CUET PG 2025 schedule , exams will not be conducted on March 14, 17, and 20. The CUET PG city slip 2025 is out for all exam days. The CUET PG admit card 2025 is available for exams scheduled from March 13 to 20. The CUET PG 2025 admit card can be accessed by visiting the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-PG.
As per NTA, the following items are to be carried inside the CUET PG 2025 exam hall.
- Transparent water bottle,
- Ball point pen
- CUET PG admit card 2025
- CUET PG 2025 Self-declaration form
- Additional passport-size photo for pasting on the attendance sheet
- Original valid ID proof such as PAN card, driving license, voter ID, passport, Aadhaar card
CUET PG 2025 exam pattern
The CUET PG 2025 exam will be held in online mode. CUET PG 2025 question paper will include a total of 75 multiple choice questions. The CUET PG 2025 exam duration is 90 minutes. The CUET PG exam 2025 will carry 300 marks in total. According to CUET PG marking scheme 2025, candidates will be awarded 4 marks for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for incorrect answers. The CUET PG 2025 question paper will be available in both English and Hindi languages.
CUET PG 2025: Guidelines for PwD candidates
PwD candidates have been asked by NTA to arrive early at the CUET PG 2025 exam center for assistance during entry.
Candidates with a physical limitation that affects their ability to write and who opt for a scribe will be granted extra time of 20 minutes per hour, regardless of whether they use the scribe's assistance. According to NTA, the scribe facility is available only to candidates who have been certified by a CMO, civil surgeon, or medical superintendent of a government healthcare institution. Additionally, candidates who selected the scribe facility in the CUET PG application form will be eligible.
CUET PG Exam 2025: Measures against unfair means
The NTA has issued a strict warning against any form of unfair means or malpractice during CUET PG 2025 exam. All CUET PG 2025 exam centers are under CCTV surveillance and equipped with jammers to prevent unauthorized communication. As per NTA, any candidate found engaging in unfair practices such as passing chits or attempting to cheat, will face severe punitive action including disqualification from future exams.
