NEW DELHI: The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET 2025) is the single-largest MBBS entrance test of India. To get MBBS admission in government medical colleges, students are required to obtain a minimum marks or NEET cut-off fixed for each category.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will administer the NEET UG exam 2025 on May 4 for around 23 lakh candidates. The NEET correction window was closed on March 11. All registered candidates will be able to download the NEET city intimation slip from the official website, neet.nta.nic.in, on April 26, as per the information bulletin.

Category-wise percentage required for NEET in Class 12

In addition to obtaining a rank in the NEET 2025 exam, students should also have qualified the Class 12 or equivalent exam with a minimum score. The minimum percentage required for NEET in Class 12 varies for general, scheduled castes (SC), scheduled tribes, Other Backward Classes (NCL), and Person with Disability (PwD).

“The criteria for minimum qualifying marks to be eligible for admission to MBBS courses shall also be applicable to concerned INIs like AIIMS and JIPMER,” the NTA said.
