Approximately 4,11,366 candidates have registered for CUET PG 2026 to seek admission in 157 subject programmes.

The CUET PG 2026 examination will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. Every paper will have a duration of 90 minutes.

Candidates are advised to reach the examination centre at least 90 minutes before the exam begins, as per the instructions issued by the NTA, to complete verification and entry procedures smoothly.

Female candidates should avoid wearing metal jewellery, including rings, necklaces, bracelets, or heavy earrings. Clothing with metallic buttons and belts should also be avoided. Candidates should not apply henna or have visible tattoos on their hands, as per exam guidelines.

Candidates should wear simple and comfortable clothing, especially as the weather becomes warmer. Sikh candidates may wear a turban as permitted. Avoid wearing metallic items such as jewellery, rings, or belts. Sandals or floaters are recommended instead of closed footwear.

Candidates will be allowed to enter the exam hall 40 minutes before the exam begins. Registration procedures and photograph capture will start around 20 minutes before the test. Candidates should carefully check their hall ticket for complete instructions.

Candidates are not allowed to carry books, notes, papers, or any study materials inside the exam hall. Electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, calculators, watches, and wallets are strictly prohibited.

The CUET PG 2026 examination will be held in three shifts on certain days. The first shift will take place from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, the second shift from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM, and the third shift from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM.
