CUET PG Registration 2026: Candidates will be able to make corrections in their application form from January 23 to January 25.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the deadline to submit the application form for the Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate Programmes (CUET PG) 2026. As per the official announcement, candidates can now submit their CUET PG 2026 application forms and pay the exam fee till January 20, 2026, up to 11:50 PM.
“The National Testing Agency (NTA) is in receipt of various representations from the candidates to extend the last date for submission of online application form for CUET (PG) 2026. Therefore, NTA informs all candidates that the last date for submission of the online application form for CUET (PG) 2026 has been extended to 20 January 2026 (up to 11:50 P.M.), enabling the aspiring candidates to complete their application form,” the official notice said.
Candidates who have already submitted their CUET PG 2026 applications will have the option to make corrections in the details provided. The correction window will be available from January 23 to January 25, 2026, till 11:50 PM.
CUET PG 2026 exam cities reduced
The facility allows candidates to edit their personal information, academic details, and other particulars submitted during the application process. The CUET PG 2026 correction process is conducted online through the official CUET PG portal at exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg/.
The testing agency has reduced the number of CUET PG 2026 exam cities to 292 this year, including 276 in India and 16 abroad, compared with 312 cities last year. The exam will be conducted for 157 subject papers, covering common papers, languages, science, humanities, MTech, higher sciences, and Acharya subjects.
CUET PG 2026 application fee
The CUET PG 2026 application fee for general category candidates is Rs 700, while OBC-NCL, SC, and ST candidates must pay Rs 600. Candidates applying for two papers will have to pay double the fee. Applicants appearing from outside India will pay Rs 3,500 for a single subject paper.
CUET PG 2026 is conducted for admission to central universities and other participating institutions, including state, deemed, and private universities. For Delhi University, admission to two-year postgraduate programmes will be based on CUET PG 2026 scores, with final selection through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS).
As per the institute, one-year PG programmes at DU will be open only to candidates who have completed a four-year bachelor’s degree under NEP from Delhi University; students from other universities or states will not be eligible.
