In the Commerce stream of CUET UG 2025, Business Studies records the highest NTA score of 250.00. Accountancy follows with 249.76, and Economics records a top score of 244.45.

In CUET UG, percentile scores are calculated separately for each shift and subject. The percentile indicates the percentage of candidates who scored equal to or lower than a particular candidate in that shift. These scores are then used to calculate normalised marks for preparing the final result.

In CUET UG 2025, English recorded the highest number of registrations, with more than 10.75 lakh candidates opting for the subject. Out of these, 8.14 lakh candidates appeared for the English test. The highest NTA score achieved in the subject was 241.96.  

The highest possible NTA score of 250 was achieved by candidates in several subjects, including Punjabi, Urdu, Business Studies, and Geography.

The general category recorded the highest number of registrations in CUET UG 2025, with 6,08,705 candidates applying. It was followed by the OBC (non-creamy layer) category, which saw 4,44,227 registrations. Among other categories, 1,44,289 candidates belonged to the SC category, while 84,461 were from the ST category. The EWS category had 73,017 applicants.

Among the 13.54 lakh registered candidates in CUET UG 2025 exam, 6,47,934 were female and 7,06,760 were male. More female candidates registered this year compared to last year.

The National Testing Agency conducted CUET (UG) 2025 in computer-based mode for 13,54,699 registered candidates, out of which 10,71,735 appeared for the exam. The test was held between May 13 and June 4 for admission to undergraduate programmes for the 2025-26 academic session.

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) will admit students to its undergraduate (UG) programmes using the Common University Entrance Test (CUET 2025) scores. Admission to 80% of the seats in BA (Hons) in School of Language, Literature, and Culture Studies are earmarked for those who passed the Class 12 board exam this year or the pervious year, subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria.
