The National Testing Agency (NTA) will declare the Common University Entrance Test - Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2025 results shortly for 13.9 lakh candidates. The highest number of 8,024 candidates scored 200 marks in business studies, followed by 5,141 in political science and 2,520 in the history paper last year. Notably, only one candidate obtained 244 out of 300 in the General Aptitude Test. CUET Results 2025 LIVE

This year, the NTA conducted the CUET UG exam for 37 subjects, including 13 Indian languages, 23 domain-specific subjects, and one General Aptitude Test. The number of subjects has been reduced from 63 to 37 this year, and the number of subject choices was also reduced from 6 to 5.

Of the five, it was mandatory to choose a language and the General Aptitude Test. Candidates were, however, allowed to opt for subjects regardless of the ones studied in Class 12.

As per last year’s pattern, the NTA conducted 63 subjects – 33 languages, 29 domain-specific subjects, and one General Aptitude Test – in both pen-and-paper and computer-based modes. Two new subjects, Fashion Studies and Tourism, were also added. Moreover, candidates were allowed to opt for six subjects.
