CUET UG 2022: Students miss exam, learn about advanced date, centre 1 hour before

NEW DELHI: Several students claimed that they got the CUET UG 2022 admit card an hour or two before the exam. However, many students also said despite their exams being scheduled on August 30, they were intimated about the advanced date today, August 18.

Technical glitches continue to mar the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG 2022) phase 4 which also led to cancellation of exams at many exam centres on August 17.

Several students also alleged that the NTA released the CUET admit card 2022 for phase 4 today at cuet.samarth.ac.in. However, as per the notice issued by the NTA, CUET UG 2022 Phase 4 was out on August 13, 2022.

A student wrote on Twitter that he got the CUET UG 2022 admit card an hour before the exam and learnt that the exam centre was too far from his home. He missed the exam since he was allotted Slot 1 and “there were no shops open for him to take a printout of the CUET admit card”.

Manish Mishra, a CUET aspirant, wrote on Twitter tagging the NTA, “Sir my phase 4 exam of CUET 2022 is reschedule to 30th August that was earlier scheduled on 18th August. Till yesterday it is showing that my admit card will be released later but today morning I have checked that it is showing on the same 18th August.”

The CUET 2022 4th phase began with nearly 3.6 lakh candidates scheduled to appear in the exam. The officials had said earlier that the exams for 11,000 candidates, who were to appear in the fourth phase from August 17-20, were postponed to August 30 to accommodate their choice of city for centre.

Another student missed the exam scheduled on August 17 as his admit card was displayed on August 18 morning. “I'm a student who was dedicatedly preparing for my cuet ug exam which was to be held on 17 August and 26 August…” “On 17 August i continuously searched for my admit card still it was shown that i will be intimidated later. Now on 18 August, finally my admit card displays and it shows that my exam had already been held on 17 August.”

“When NTA released this notice it’s clearly showing that the exam held in Phase 4 (i.e., 17 , 18 & 20 August) get there admit card in 13 August but NTA don’t care about it they release your admit card in morning of 18 (August).”
