NEW DELHI: From increasing exam centres, additional technical manpower to creating exclusive grievance redressal e-mail, the National Testing Agency has taken some measure for the smooth conduct of the CUET UG 2022 exam. The steps were taken by the NTA after students flooded social media platforms and emailed the agency with requests and clarification on the first-ever Common University Entrance Test (CUET 2022) for admission to central universities.

In a latest notice, the NTA said, “NTA with the support of UGC and AICTE has increased its capacity by adding new institutes as examination centres and also improving the quality of Centres so as to enhance the experience of candidates in taking the examination.”

After CUET UG 2022 phase 2 exams were cancelled in many exam centres due to technical, logistics and administrative reasons, the NTA decided to hold exams for these candidates between August 12 to 14. A total of 15,811 candidates requested a date different from August 12 to 14, 2022. Similarly, many candidates have approached the NTA requesting not to schedule their examination as a series of festivals are falling during this period.
