NTA announces CUET UG 2023 result; scorecard link active

NEW DELHI: The result of the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) has been announced today, July 15. The National Testing Agency (NTA) websites -- nta.ac.in and cuet.samarth.ac.in are hosting the result of the university entrance test and CUET UG 2023 scorecard. To access and download the CUET UG 2023 result scorecards, candidates will have to key in their registration numbers and dates of birth on the login portal. The performance of every candidate has been evaluated using the equi-percentile method wherein normalised marks of each candidate have been calculated using the percentiles of each group of students in a given session across multiple days for the same subject, NTA said while announcing the CUET UG 2023 result.

Around 140 questions have been dropped from the CUET UG 2023 question paper , the marks of which will be awarded to only those candidates who have attempted those questions. The NTA score of CUET UG 2023 will be valid for admission to the academic year 2023-24 only.
CUET UG 2023 was held for multiple choice questions (MCQs). NTA evaluated the MCQs of all the test papers by using final CUET UG answer keys and the raw (actual) marks obtained by a candidate will be considered further for computation of the CUET UG result 2023. However, for multi-shift papers, raw or actual marks obtained by the candidates in different shifts or sessions will be converted to NTA score.
Although NTA has issued the CUET UG 2023 scorecard, the admission exercise including counselling to admit students to the undergraduate programmes will be handled by the participating universities only.
There are around 44 central universities and other state universities participating in CUET UG 2023 for the academic session 2023-2024.
