NEW DELHI: The National Test Agency (NTA) has conducted the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2024 today, May 29 for Delhi, Kanpur, Goa, Indore, Siwan, and Silchar centres for exams that were postponed earlier. The CUET (UG) 2024 was held in a Hybrid mode (combining CBT and Pen and Paper) from May 15 to May 24 for 13.48 lakh candidates across numerous examination centres situated in 379 cities, including 26 cities abroad.

Today, the CUET UG 2024 test papers for Chemistry (306), Biology (304), English (101), and General Test (501) were held at various centers in Delhi, Faridabad, Gurugram, Noida, and Ghaziabad, accommodating approximately 1.52 lakh candidates. The attendance ranged from 78% to 81% across different test papers.
The CUET UG 2024 Knowledge Tradition and Practices in India - 316 (KTPI) paper was conducted in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode today along with some specific subjects in offline mode for affected candidates in the cities of Kanpur, Indore, Goa, and Siwan. Candidates from Silchar, Assam appeared for Bengali and Environmental Studies.
The CUET UG 2024 examination concluded across all cities domestically and internationally, marking a reduction in exam duration from 34 days last year to 8 days this year. Altogether, approximately 1.58 lakhs candidates appeared for the CUET (UG) 2024 May 29 exam across seven test papers.
According to NTA, special arrangements were made for a single candidate living in Germany to appear in CUET (UG) – 2024, with assistance from the Consulate General of India, Frankfurt, Germany, for the test papers in Chemistry (306), Biology (304), English (101), and General Test (501).
