When is CUET UG form 2025 expected? Registration date trends

NEW DELHI : The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the Common University Entrance Test - Undergraduate (CUET UG) form 2025 anytime soon, based on the previous year’s trend. CUET UG registration 2025 will be conducted on the new official website, cuet.nta.nic.in.

The newly launched CUET UG 2025 website will host the CUET UG application form 2025 link along with the CUET UG information bulletin 2025, CUET syllabus 2025, and CUET 2025 exam date.

Unlike the previous years, the CUET 2025 exam will be held only once a year in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode, Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan had said earlier.

Following the recommendations of an expert committee on NTA exam reforms, the University Grants Commission (UGC) announced a few changes in how the entrance exam will be administered this year which include a drop in the number of subjects, flexibility in the choice of papers, removal of optional questions, one-hour duration, and introduction of negative marking for wrong answers besides single mode.

CUET UG 2025 registration date: Previous years’ trends

The ministry of education introduced CUET exam in 2022, doing away with the multiple exams on university level, and conducting a single entrance test for admission to degree programmes in central, state , private, deemed universities and other participating institutions.

More than 11 lakh candidates take the CUET exam every year, an increase from the debut edition. Last year, the majority of the examinees were from Uttar Pradesh and most of them wrote the English paper.
