The National Testing Agency (NTA) will end the Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduate programmes (CUET UG) 2026 subject correction process today, April 19, at 11:50 pm. Candidates who have completed the application fee payment can make corrections on the official CUET website at cuet.nta.nic.in.

The official notice reads, "Considering the requests received, the NTA has decided to provide an opportunity for the candidates (who registered successfully and paid the fee) to update the previously selected subjects from 17-19 April 2026 (up to 11:50 PM).”
The CUET UG 2026 exam will be conducted from May 11 to May 31, 2026, in computer-based test (CBT) mode across multiple shifts in India and abroad.

To make the corrections, aspirants need to follow the steps given below:
Visit the official website of CUET at cuet.nta.nic.in
On the homepage, click the login tab
Enter the details, including application number and password
Choose the "correct in test paper" option and update subjects as needed
Click on the submit to save the changes
During this correction window, candidates are allowed to modify their previously selected subjects and align their subject choices with university eligibility criteria. No other major details in the application form can be changed.
The application window was initially open from January 3 to January 30, 2026, with the deadline for fee submission set for January 31, 2026 (till 11:50 pm). It was later extended, allowing candidates to register until February 4, 2026, while the fee payment option remained available up to February 7, 2026.
Following multiple requests from applicants, the registration portal was reopened once again from February 23 to February 26, 2026 (till 11:50 pm) to provide another opportunity to aspiring candidates.
