Osmania University has extended the registration process for the Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS ECET) 2026. Applicants can apply on the official website of TS ECET at ecet.tgche.ac.in till April 23, 2026 without late fees. The submission of an online application form was started on March 9, 2026.

Candidates can submit their applications with a late fee of Rs. 500 till April 28, 2026 (Tuesday), Rs. 1,000 till May 4, 2026 (Monday), Rs. 2,500 till May 8, 2026 (Friday), Rs. 5,000 till May 10, 2026 (Sunday), and Rs. 10,000 till May 12, 2026 (Tuesday).

The payment of the registration fee can be made through Credit Card, Debit Card, or Internet Banking. The fee is ₹500 for SC, ST, and PH candidates, while all other candidates are required to pay ₹900.

TS ECET 2026: How to register

To register for the TS ECET 2026, candidates need to follow the steps given below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of TS ECET at ecet.tgche.ac.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, finish the application fee payment via credit card, debit card, or net banking.

Step 3: Fill out the details, including personal, educational, and qualifying exam details (Diploma/B.Sc. hall ticket number).

Step 4: Upload the documents and then submit.

Step 5: Download the form and take a printout for further reference.

TS ECET 2026: Important dates

The application correction window will be open from May 1 to May 5, 2026, while hall tickets will be available for download from May 9, 2026. The TG ECET 2026 examination is scheduled to be held on May 15, 2026. The exam will be conducted from 9 am to 12 pm for subjects including ECE, EIE, CSE, EEE, CIV, MEC, CHE, MIN, MET, PHM, and BSM.

TS ECET 2026: Exam pattern

For diploma holders appearing in TG ECET 2026 (Engineering), the examination will consist of four sections. Mathematics will carry 50 marks, while Physics and Chemistry will have 25 marks each, common to all branches. The Engineering paper will carry 100 marks and will be based on the candidate’s specific branch such as Civil, Electrical and Electronics, Mechanical, Electronics and Communication, Computer Science, Chemical, Metallurgical, Mining, or Electronics and Instrumentation. The total marks for the engineering stream will be 200.

For B.Sc. Mathematics candidates, the test will include Mathematics (100 marks), Analytical Ability (50 marks), and Communicative English (50 marks), making a total of 200 marks. Meanwhile, Pharmacy candidates will be assessed through four subjects—Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy, and Pharmaceutical Chemistry—each carrying 50 marks, also totaling 200. The duration of the examination for all streams will be 180 minutes (3 hours).
