The National Testing Agency (NTA) has advised candidates appearing for the CUET UG 2026 exam to upload their identity proof document and photograph by April 10. The testing agency has allowed candidates who used ID proofs other than Aadhaar to correct their details, as some live photos taken during the application process did not match the UIDAI records.

NTA will conduct the Common University Entrance Test - Undergraduate (CUET UG 2026) exams from May 11 to 31 in India and a few cities abroad.

“NTA has provided such affected candidates with an opportunity to verify their identity by uploading a signed and attested certificate, along with a recent photograph duly certified by their school/college principal or headmaster,” the official NTA notice reads.

The CUET UG 2026 paper will comprise 250 marks with three sections. As per the CUET UG 2026 marking scheme, candidates will receive five marks for each correct answer, and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.

CUET UG 2026 will be held in 13 languages, including English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Odia, Bengali, Assamese, and Punjabi.
