A student raised the concern over the CUET exam centre location and tweeted, "@DG_NTA @EduMinOfIndia My app. no. is 223510238325 for CUET. It is on 5th August and both the slots are being held on the same day, same centre 45kms away from my home (Noida 3rd preference). Traveling and then giving both slots will quite effect my efficiency in exams, pls help".

Candidates have been given the option to either take the examination in the new city or to appear in the earlier city after August 10. Candidates who choose to exercise this option before downloading their CUET 2022 admit cards will have their examinations scheduled after August 10. NTA has allowed 19 candidates who missed the CUET UG exam 2022 (phase 1) due to last-minute changes in examination centres to sit for a retest, as per the report by The Indian Express. The report also says that the retest will be held during the second phase of the CUET, which starts on August 4.

Phase I of CUET UG 2022 was conducted from 15 to 20 July 2022 in 247 Centres throughout 160 cities. Approximately 2.0 lacs candidates were scheduled to appear in Phase I.

CUET UG 2022 will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. There will be two slots, morning and evening. The slot 1 exam duration will be 3 hours 15 minutes, while the exam duration for slot 2 exam will be 3 hours 45 minutes.

National Testing Agency will conduct the CUET phase 2 exams from August 4 to 20, 2022. The CUET phase 1 exams were held from July 15 to 20, 2022.
