NEW DELHI: The Common University Entrance Test for undergraduate (CUET UG 2024) answer key will be issued today for all 61 papers as per the TOI report. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will host the CUET answer key 2024 on the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG. Students will also be given an opportunity to challenge the provisional answer key by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs 200.

Along with the CUET 2024 answer key, the NTA will also upload the response sheet and question paper for reference. This year, a total of about 13.48 lakh candidates appeared in the CUET UG exam 2024. The exams were held in multiple shifts from May 15 to 24 and a re-exam was held on May 29 for 1.52 lakh candidates who faced difficulties while appearing in some of the exam centres.

Students seeking admission to UG courses in central universities, state universities and other participating institutions were allowed to choose 6 subjects to appear in CUET, whereas they were permitted to opt 10 subjects till last year. The exam pattern was also changed this year to encourage more students to take part in the national-level exam. The exam was held in hybrid mode - computer-based test (CBT) and pen-and-paper mode.

Candidates, who are not satisfied with the CUET provisional answer key, will be able to challenge by selecting the question ID and choosing one of the choices other than the one NTA has given. They will then be required to upload supporting documents and pay the challenge fee and submit the claim.

Students were required to attempt 40 out of 50 questions for all test papers and 50 out of 60 for the general test. As per the marking criteria, every right answer will fetch 5 marks and one mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. No mark will be awarded for questions unanswered.
