NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to announce the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG result 2023 in the first week of July, as per a PTI report. CUET exam date 2023 has been extended to June 17 due to a large number of candidates in some cities. NTA will issue the CUET UG city intimation slip 2023 and CUET UG admit card 2023 for candidates appearing on these dates soon at cuet.samarth.ac.in.

Around 14.99 lakh candidates are appearing for the five phases of the CUET 2023 exam till June 11 and 65,000 more candidates are yet to appear in the final phase, according to officials. The exams will be conducted mostly in Jammu and Kashmir and Jharkhand. A total of 1,78,630 candidates registered from Jharkhand while 87,309 Jammu and Kashmir candidates applied for CUET 2023.

CUET UG 2023 results are expected to be declared within 15 days of the conclusion of exams. "According to the original schedule, the results were expected around June 20, which will now probably be announced around the first week of July," a senior official told PTI.

In the recent notice, NTA also informed that it has kept June 21, 22, and 23 as buffer dates for the CUET UG 2023 exam. The exam dates have been extended for the third time. Initially, the exam was scheduled for May 21 to 31. NTA extended the exam dates to June 8 then June 11, and now till June 17.

Last year, around 14 lakh candidates registered for the first edition of CUET exam conducted from July 15 to August 30. Almost 20,000 candidates scored 100 percentile across 30 subjects.
