University of Delhi vice-chancellor Yogesh Singh last week said that the first-year classes for the academic year 2024-25 will begin on August 16 due to delay in CUET UG results 2024. "The CUET result has not been announced, but it will impact the academic calendar for the students for the first semester in courses where admission is through CUET-UG. The semester will likely start on August 16. For other semesters, we will start the semester on August 1," DU Vice Chancellor Yogesh Singh said.

Jamia Millia Islamia is mulling to chalk out an alternate strategy to hold its undergraduate (UG) admissions this year amid the uncertainty over the declaration of the CUET-UG result, as per the PTI report dated July 18. It is the only central university in Delhi which has not opted for CUET system completely. It accepts CUET scores for admissions into 15 out of the 50 UG courses and five out of the 86 master’s programmes offered at the university.

The NTA has not declared the CUET result 2024 yet. Due to the delay of the CUET 2024 results, the admission process is delayed for programmes through CUET scores.

The National Testing Agency is expected to declare the CUET UG result 2024 by the end of this week. The JMI Vice-Chancellor has also stated that the result will be announced either by the end of July or in the first week of August.

NTA has activated CUET 2024 answer key link on July 25 for students who have appeared in CBT and OMR exams.

Students are required to click on the CUET result 2024 link after it is activated and enter their login details such as application number and date of birth to check the result.

NTA has released te CUET UG final answer key 2024 on JUly 25 for CBT and OMR based tests.

Students can check the CUET result 2024 by visiting the official website at exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG.

NTA will likely announce the CUET UG result by the end of this week, in online mode.

Around 13.48 lakh students are waiting for NTA to declare the CUET UG 2024 results. The examination was held between May 15 and 29, and a retest was conducted on July 19.

• On the homepage, click the link that reads 'CUET UG 2024' (once released).
• A new page will appear on the screen.
• Enter the required credentials and click on the submit option.
• Your CUET UG 2024 result will appear on the screen.
• Download it, and take a printout for future reference.

NTA dropped a total of 59 questions have been dropped in online examination and 404 questions have been dropped in offline examination.

The NTA conducted CUET UG 2024 in a hybrid mode on May 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, 24 and 29. A re-test was held on July 19. The results will be announced next on exams.nta.ac.in.
