DASA UG, CSAB Special counselling mock seat allotment 2026 out; modify choices before August 5

The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) has released the Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) undergraduate (UG) and CSAB special counselling mock seat allotment 2026. Registered candidates can check their DASA UG 2026 mock allotment status on the official website, csab.nic.in.

The CSAB special counselling and DASA UG mock allotment provide candidates with a preview of their probable seat based on the choices filled. They can still edit, reorder or lock their preferences before the choice filling and locking process ends on August 5.

Candidates who wish to improve their chances of securing a preferred institute or programme are advised to review their choices carefully and make necessary changes before the deadline. The Round 1 DASA UG seat allotment result will be announced on August 6.

Candidates are also advised to complete the remaining CSAB special counselling and DASA UG admission 2026 formalities within the prescribed schedule. The last date to submit the DASA UG 2026 application form is August 3, while candidates must respond to queries raised by the Document Verifying Officer and pay the balance DASA Enrolment Fee (DEF), if applicable, by August 4.

• Visit the official CSAB counselling portal.
• Click on the DASA UG 2026 candidate login link.
• Log in using your registered credentials.
• Open the Mock Seat Allotment link available on the dashboard.
• View your allotted institute and programme based on the choices filled so far.
• Download or save the mock allotment for future reference.

The DASA UG counselling is conducted for admission to undergraduate programmes offered by participating NITs, IIITs, SPAs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs). Admission is based on JEE Main 2026 ranks of eligible foreign nationals, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), Non-Resident Indians (NRI) and Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries (CIWG).
