Candidates can register, upload documents and fill choices for CSAB special rounds and DASA UG counselling through the official portal at csab.nic.in

The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) has commenced the online registration and choice-filling process for Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) and CSAB special counselling 2026. Eligible candidates can register through the official website, csab.nic.in, and complete the choice filling process by August 3.
Candidates seeking admission through the DASA and CSAB special counselling must first complete the online registration, pay the required counselling fee and submit their preferred choices of institutes and courses.
For the CSAB special rounds, the mock seat allotment will be released on July 31, while the choice-filling process will close on August 3. The round 1 CSAB special counselling seat allotment result will be announced on August 6.
Candidates allotted seats in special round 1 will be able to upload documents and accept or surrender their allotted seats between August 6 and 10. The last date to respond to queries raised during document verification for round 1 is August 11.
The round 2 seat allotment will be declared on August 12. Candidates allotted seats in the second round will have to pay the seat acceptance fee, upload documents, respond to queries, if any, and complete online reporting from August 12 to August 14. The last date to respond to document verification queries for Round 2 is August 17.
Candidates who secure seats through the CSAB Special Rounds will have to report to their allotted institutes between August 13 and August 18 to complete the admission process.
The DASA UG 2026 counselling process has also commenced with the release of the online application form. Candidates can upload the required documents from July 28 to August 3.
The mock seat allocation for DASA UG 2026 will be displayed on July 31. The last date to submit the application form is August 3. Candidates must respond to any queries raised by the Document Verifying Officer and pay the balance of the DASA Enrolment Fee (DEF), if applicable, by August 4.
The choice filling and choice locking process will be held on August 5. The Round 1 seat allotment result will be announced on August 6, while the Round 2 seat allotment will be declared on August 12.
Candidates who confirm their allotted seats through DASA will have to physically report to their allotted institutes on August 13. They must also pay the balance admission fee between August 13 and 18, as per the counselling schedule.

Visit the official website, csab.nic.in.
Click on the “Online Registration and Choice Filling for DASA & CSAB Special Counselling 2026” link.
Log in using the required credentials.
Complete the registration form and pay the counselling fee.
Fill and lock the preferred choices of institutes and programmes.
Submit the form and download the confirmation page for future reference.
Candidates should verify all details before locking their choices, as modifications may not be allowed after the choice filling window closes.
