Bihar polytechnic counselling 2025: Candidates can fill their preferences till July 3; Round 1 seat allotment list on June 8
The Diploma Certificate Entrance Competitive Examination (DCECE) for Polytechnic Engineering (PE) has started its counselling process on June 27, 2025, for admission to polytechnic engineering diploma courses in Bihar.
Candidates who had appeared for the DCECE PE 2025 have to take part in the choice-filling process for the counselling rounds. They can login on the counselling platform “admissions.nic.in”, and select their exam name. They have to submit their registration number, password, and a security pin, before being taken to the counselling portal.
For Bihar polytechnic counselling 2025, candidates have to submit their choice of courses, colleges, and branches. They will be allotted any of their choices in the counselling rounds, based on their exam score and availability of seats.

DCECE PE seat allotment process
During Round 1 of Bihar polytechnic 2025 admission process, candidates will have the option to either opt for the next round, or accept the allotted seat. If a candidate wishes to take admission in the allotted seat, they should reach their respective institute for offline document verification.
The following documents are to be taken for the DCECE 2025 verification:
- Class 10 marksheet for birth proof
- DCECE PE 2025 admit card
- Aadhaar card copy
- DCECE PE 2025 application form hard copy
- DCECE PE 2025 rank card
- Verification slip in two copies as downloaded along with the biometric form in one copy
- Document proof for reserved categories (if applicable)

If any seats are left vacant after the two rounds of allotment, a third ‘mop-up’ round will be conducted.
DCECE PE 2025 exam result was declared on June 23. Candidates can view and download their rank cards from the official website of Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) - bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. By clicking on the ‘Rank Card of DCECE (PE/PM/PMM)-2025’ button, and filling in their respective roll number and date of birth, candidates can access their rank cards.
