Gahlot informed that the first batches of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Armed Forces Preparatory School and Delhi Model Virtual School have commenced.
“Our Education Revolution relies firmly on integration of technology in the classroom. In 2018, the Kejriwal Govt provided tablets to all our teachers. In 2023-24, the Govt will again provide new tablets to all teachers, principals, vice principals & DDE,” said the finance minister in a tweet.
“We must equip Delhi’s children for the 21st Century-a digital era, wherein computer skills are essential for all. To further strengthen our children’s competency for this new age, 20 computers each will be provided across 350 schools of the Delhi Govt,” he added.

This was the first time that Kailash Gahlot presented the budget after taking charge of the finance department following the resignation of deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia who was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with the Delhi excise policy scam case.
"I would have been happier if this budget was presented by Manish Sisodia who is like my elder brother. The budget is an expression of expectations and aspirations of the people," Gahlot said in his budget speech.
