Delhi Class 11 Admission 2025: Registration begins for government schools; age limit, schedule

The Directorate of Education has started the application process for non-plan Class 11 admission 2025 for Delhi government schools. Students and parents who are residents of Delhi will be eligible to apply for Class 11 admission through the official website, edudel.nic.in.
As per the age limit set for Class 11 admission 2025 in Delhi governments schools, a student should have completed 15 years, but should be less than 17 years as of March 31, 2025. Those who have been declared pass in Class 10 exam from a government school in Delhi will not be eligible for admission, however, they will be allowed to apply for transfer, the DoE clarified.
Students from unaided schools will be eligible to apply for the government school admission process. The first allotment results will be declared on June 19. There will be a total of three rounds of selection process.
The Delhi Class 11 registration window will be available until June 9 up to 5 pm. Students will have to fill the following details in the registration form.
- Personal details like name, father's, mother's name and residential address,
- Details of last school attended (if any).
- Aadhaar number, UID of the child.
- Bank account number of the child along with name of the bank's branch and its IFSC
- Date of birth.
- Subjects studied and marks obtained in the previous class.
- Applicants have to select the stream.
- Upload mark sheet of previous class, in pdf form with size less than 300 KB.
Ration cards issued in the name of parents having the name of the child, domicile certificate, voter ID card, electricity bill, MTNL telephone bill, water bill, bank passbook, Aadhaar number, or passport will be considered valid documents to verify residential address.
