Following the declaration of Common University Entrance Test, CUET UG results, the Delhi University (DU) is expected to open its Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal for undergraduate admissions soon. PTI reports that the portal for admission to the 2026-27 academic session is expected to be made live by the end of this week. The university is aiming to commence the new academic session from July 21.

According to DU Registrar Vikas Gupta, the admission portal is undergoing final checks before being made available to candidates. Once the portal is activated, aspirants will have to complete the registration process, followed by submitting their preferred programmes and colleges. Seat allotments will be carried out in multiple rounds based on CUET UG 2026 scores and the preferences filled by candidates.

Delhi University offers more than 71,000 undergraduate seats across nearly 79 programmes through over 70 colleges. After each allocation round, students can either accept and freeze their allotted seat or opt for an upgrade in subsequent rounds. Here is an idea of minimum marks required for admission in DU affiliated colleges.

Factors affecting cut-off

The Delhi University CUET UG cut-off is determined by snumber of candidates applying for a particular course, the availability of seats at individual colleges, and the overall difficulty level of the CUET UG examination. Candidates' scores, category-wise reservations, and the programme and college preferences submitted through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) also play a significant role in determining the cut-offs.
