Download NowNEW DELHI: Delhi University resumes offline classes for the first-year undergraduate students from today, November 22. DU colleges including Gargi College, Indraprastha College For Women and Ramanujan College will be also conducting the orientation day for the UG students. First-year students can check the direct links to the orientation day for these colleges here.

Delhi University colleges have already started holding orientation days for the new students to acquaint them with their respective colleges and departments. The orientation and classes will be held in virtual mode for these students.
Gargi college has released a department wise orientation day links and issued guidelines for joining the event. Students have to download the App in their mobile/ laptop before the event. Mic and camera should be off at all times (before a student joins) for better bandwidth. Students can type their questions in the chat box and the questions which are not repetitive will be picked up by the teachers.
Gargi college will begin the orientation day at 12 pm - 12.30 pm for various UG programmes.

Indraprastha College for Women, University of Delhi will begin the orientation day today at 11.30 am.
“The College Orientation Program and Principal's address will be followed by the departmental orientation programs. Please check the departmental portals for all updates regarding these events. You can reach the departmental portals through the College website by clicking on Academic Programs on the homepage and selecting the department from the Menu,” the official notice read.

Ramanujan College also issued a schedule and procedure to join the orientation programme. Steps to join the orientation programme:
Step 1: Install the Microsoft Teams Application in the Mobile/ Laptop/ Desktop and sign in using the user id and password (provided by the college).
Step-2: If you click the teams tab, then the team named “Orientation Programme 2021 | (Name of Course)” should be visible to you. The Join Button will appear at the time of the Orientation Programme. Click on that and you will be part of the Orientation Programme. Keep in mind that you have a good internet connectivity while attending the Orientation Programme.
Step 3: If you don’t find the Join button, you can still join by clicking the link provided in the notice.
