NEW DELHI: The flagship initiative of the ministry of electronics and IT, DigiLocker, has invited applications for a mobile developer (IOS) virtual internship at the National e-Governance Division, or NeGD.
Any graduate or postgraduate student can apply for an internship that may run for a period between three and 12 months. The intern will work on a “citizen-centric application” built by the Government of India.
At the end of the internship period, the intern will receive a certificate. The opportunity does not include a stipend or a job offer upon the completion of the internship.
According to a statement from Digilocker, the selected intern will be given specific tasks and responsibilities and will be challenged to develop their capabilities and gain experience. The intern is expected to be flexible and provide time-bound delivery of the assigned task.
As it is a virtual internship, a dedicated platform will be used to submit assignments and collaborate with the rest of the team. The last date to send the application is May 31, 2021.

I had a different concept of government jobs in my mind. I thought you could get a government job only through reference and believed the TULIP internship was the same. The internship at Pune Smart City has improved my communications skills, management skills and technical skills. Because of this internship, I was able to meet dignitaries whom I could only dream of meeting before.
