DSSSB has deferred the various posts recruitment exam of DSSSB 2021 till further notice due to the coronavirus pandemic.
NEW DELHI: The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has postponed the DSSSB recruitment exams 2021 for the post of Assistant grade, stenographer, assistant engineer (civil) and Ahlmad posts. The DSSSB 2021 exams were scheduled to be conducted from May 12 to May 27, 2021, which is now postponed till further notice. The DSSSB has released a notice regarding the postponement on the official website - dsssb.delhi.gov.in.
As per the DSSSB 2021 notification, “All the online examinations which are scheduled to be conducted from May 12, 2021, to May 27, 2021, are deferred in the view of administrative exigencies. The new dates will be announced later.” Due to the second wave of coronavirus, a lot of top competitive exams such as UGC NET 2021 , SSC CHSL among others have been postponed.

Other exams that got postponed due to COVID-19
Earlier, DSSSB had released the notice regarding the postponement of the Junior Clerk Exam, which was scheduled to be conducted on May 12, 2021. The situation of the coronavirus pandemic has led to the postponement of many top exams such as UPSC IAS and IES/ISS interviews. The National Testing Agency has also postponed the JEE Mains, UGC NET 2021, and other important exams. The exams are getting postponed considering the health and safety of students as well as exam functionaries. The new dates of these exams will be announced once the situation normalises.

The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) conducts the recruitment exams every year as the Delhi government personnel on the various posts. Candidates need to appear in the online examinations followed by an interview round. The final selection will be done after the document verification process. The minimum qualifying marks will be decided by the exam authorities.
