DU Admission 2021: First cut-off admission in Delhi University from tomorrow

NEW DELHI: The Delhi University admission against its first cut off will start from tomorrow, October 4. The first cut off for admission in various undergraduate courses of Delhi University was released on October 1.

The candidates who qualify for the first cut off list can apply between October 4 10:00 am to October 6, 11:59pm. The college will approve the admission against the first cut off list by October 7, 5 pm. Candidates have to make the payment by October 8, 5 pm. Students who did not make it in the first cut off will now have to wait for the second cut off list which is scheduled to be released on October 9. The admission will be through online mode for Delhi University this year as well.
The candidates who have scored the minimum cut off marks can apply for the courses. Here is the list of documents required. Scanned copies of the following certificates will be required while applying.
Class 10 certificate
Class 12 certificate
Relevant reservation certificate issued by competent issuing authority (if applicable).
Self-attested copies of requisite certificates for admission under sports/ ECA Quota (if

This year, nine top colleges under Delhi University touched the 100 percent cut off for 11 of its coveted courses.
BA (Hons) Economics in Shri Ram College for Commerce (SRCC), BA (Hons) political science in Hindu College and Ramjas College. BA (Hons) Psychology in Jesus and Mary College (JMC) are among the colleges that have declared 100 percent cut-off. Other colleges with 100 percent cut off are Hansraj College, Deen Dayal Upadhyay College.
There are nearly 70,000 seats in 65 colleges under DU. Owing to Covid-19 situation, the DU admission process 2021 will be completely online like last year. In case of any vacant seats after the third cut off, DU will announce a special cut off list. Delhi University releases the cut-off on the basis of “best of four” criteria which considers the average marks in the top four subjects scored by a candidate in Class 12.
