DU Admission 2022: Over 71,000 students accept allocated seats so far

NEW DELHI: A total of 71,741 candidates have accepted their allotted seats in University of Delhi (DU) from the first merit list as of October 21, 2022. DU announced the first list of seat allocations with 80,164 candidates under different undergraduate (UG) programmes.

The university has extended the deadline for CSAS round 1 seat allocation till 11:50 AM on October 22, 2022. The college will verify and approve the online application and send a confirmation by October 23. In addition, the last date make an online payment of the admission fee has also been extended till 5 PM on October 24, 2022.

The candidates will be allowed to move to the subsequent round of DU UG admission 2022 only when they accept their allocated seats. If they fail to do so, they will not be considered for the DU CSAS round 2 seat allocation. A total of 54,395 DU admissions are currently underway.

Candidates is required to head to the DU portal- admission.uod.ac.in and click on the 'Accept Allocation' link on their dashboard. Those who want to change their course and college allotted in the DU first merit list will be given an option upgrade in a few days. For this, accepting the seat allotment is mandatory.

“Many students are not accepting thinking that they will be stuck with the course they have been allocated. No you won't be, but if you don't accept you are out of the race altogether," said a DU assistant professor in a Facebook post.
