NEW DELHI: University of Delhi (DU) and Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) signed an agreement to collaborate on academic and research activities. Through this partnership, DU and C-DAC will collaborate on innovative projects, submit joint research proposals, and develop technologies for societal benefit.
The agreement will also include internships, industry visits, higher education, and project opportunities for students. This aims to provide practical experience. “The agreement also emphasises industry-academia integration through internships, industry visits, higher education, and real-world project opportunities, ensuring students gain practical insights and hands-on experience,” the official press release said.
As per the institute, under this agreement, DU and C-DAC mutually support research activities and academic programmes through various initiatives. These include:

The agreement was signed by Vikas Gupta, registrar, University of Delhi, and Vivek Khaneja, executive director, C-DAC Noida, in the presence of Ratnabali K, dean academics, Neelima Gupta, dean faculty of mathematical sciences, and Om Pal, associate professor, department of computer science, University of Delhi. Sourish Behra, scientist F, and Abhishek Tiwari, scientist E, represented C-DAC Noida.
