DU to conduct mock tests ahead of online exams
NEW DELHI: For the upcoming online open-book exams, University of Delhi (DU) will be conducting mock exams for the final-year students between July 4 and July 8. On Saturday, DU postponed the exams that were scheduled to start on July 1 by 10 days.
The mock exams will allow the students to practice and be familiar with the procedural steps required for appearing in the online exam.
The mock exam includes directions on student registration, downloading of question papers, scanning and uploading of answer sheets on the DU portal.
Each student will be allotted two hours to complete the exam and one additional hour for uploading the answer sheets. For students with disabilities, five hours have been allotted to write and upload the answers on the portal.
A time-specific schedule for 15 mock papers has been released for the undergraduate, postgraduate and SOL students.
DU open book exam guidelines
As per the exam guidelines, students will have to register themselves on the portal to receive a password necessary to access the mock exam.
The mock tests will be conducted in three sessions and students can appear for the test as per their convenience. Students are directed to use A4 sheets of paper to write the answers.
In order to upload the answer sheets, students will have to log into the examination portal. Examinees will not be allowed to make any changes, once the answer sheet has been submitted.
In case of technical difficulties, students have been provided with the option to send the PDF files of their answer sheets to the designated email address or send it via Whatsapp.
