DU UG admission 2021: JMC released its first cut-off list today. Find the course-wise cut off details on jmc.ac.in.

NEW DELHI: Delhi University’s Jesus and Mary College released its first cut off list today for its various undergraduate courses. BA (Hons) in Psychology rises to 100% mark. Students who have a minimum of 99 percent with Psychology as best of four subjects (BFS) can apply for the course, while for the students without psychology as best of four, it crossed 100%.

As expected the cut off this year is higher as compared to that of 2020. The highest cutoff this year is for BA (Hons) Psychology at 99-100%, which has increased by 1.5% for students with Psychology as best of four, from last year.
JMC’s first cut off 2021 for BA(Hons) Economics is at 98.5%. The registered candidates can check their eligibility for the courses on the official website of Jesus and Mary College on jmc.ac.in.

The highest cut off last year was for BA (Hons) political science at 99 percent, followed by BA(Hons) Psychology at 98.5percent and BA (Hons)Economics at 97.75%. There has been an increase in the cut off list for all three courses this year.
For almost all the programmes in JMC, the cut- off is higher than that of DU cut-off 2020.
Even for English, the cut off has gone up and is at 97-99%, the cut off for English was at 96.5 to 98 % last year. while for BA (Hindi), the cut off is at 70%, an increase of 5 %. The lowest cut off last year was for BA honours Hindi at 65 percent and BA general at 70-97 percent.
JMC’s cut -off for its BSc programme in Mathematics is 95.5 %. The cut-off was 95% last year.

The cutoff was released today at 10 am on the official website of JMC. The candidates who qualify for the first cut off list can apply between October 4 10:00 am to October 6 11:59pm. The college will approve the admission against the first cut off list by October 7, 5 pm. Candidates have to make the payment by October 8, 5 pm.
Students who did not make it in the first cut off list will now have to wait for the second cut off list which is scheduled to be released on October 9.

There are nearly 70,000 seats in 65 colleges under DU. Owing to Covid-19 situation, the DU admission process 2021 will be completely online like last year.
In case of any vacant seats after the third cut off, DU will announce a special cut off list.
Delhi University releases the cut-off on the basis of “best of four” criteria which considers the average marks in the top four subjects scored by a candidate in Class 12.
