DU Admission 2021: Delhi University first cut-off list 2021 has been released today, October 1, at du.ac.in. DU colleges have begun announcing their minimum scores for the first round of DU UG admission 2021. Aryabhatta College is the first one to release DU cut-off list 2021 for various Delhi University UG courses. Ramanujan College, Acharya Narendra Dev College and Jesus and Mary College have released the first cut-off list for UG admissions.
The highest cut-off score of Jesus and Mary College is 100 for BA Hons Psychology for those students who haven't added Psychology in best of four subjects. The cut-off score for BA Hons Applied Psychology is 99 per cent at Ramanujan College. Deshbandhu College has also released its first cut-off list with as high as 98 per cent score for BSc Hons Physics.
The consolidated DU cut-off lists 2021 for arts and commerce, science and BA programmes of all the affiliated colleges is now available at Delhi University’s official website - du.ac.in. Students who want to take DU UG admission 2021 in the affiliated colleges should have the minimum DU cut-off marks or above set by the individual college.
DU colleges such as Hansraj College, Lady Shri Ram Colleges, Miranda House College, Hindu College, SGTB Khalsa College, Rajdhani College, SRCC, Kamala Nehru College, etc will release the Delhi University 1st cut-off list soon on their official websites.

The online reporting and document verification for admissions against the DU first cut-off 2021 will begin from October 4 and will be over by October 6. The DU colleges will approve the admissions by October 7 pm. The last date of fee payment is October 8.
The Delhi University cut-off is the minimum marks at which admissions are offered to the candidates in various colleges or courses. The Delhi University cut-off list is prepared with the help of the best of four calculations, including one language and three academic subjects.
Last year, Lady Shri Ram College pegged 100 per cent for three of its programmes. With over 70,000 students scoring more than 95 per cent marks this year, the DU cut-off is expected to be higher. More than 2.87 lakh students have registered for DU UG admission 2021 this year.

One of the Delhi University colleges, St. Stephen’s College has already released its first cut-off list on September 4. In the first cut-off list of St. Stephen’s College 2021, the highest cut-off score was as high as 99.5 per cent for admission to BA Hons Economics (for humanities and commerce stream students).

DU has released first cut-off 2021 for all courses, colleges. Kamala Nehru College (Women) has kept its first cut-off for BA English, Journalism, Political Science and Psychology at 99%.
Daulat Ram College has released the first cut-off list 2021. While, the first cut-off for BA Economics and Psychology, and BCom Hons is 99%, that of English Hons is 98.25%.

Ramjas college has released first cut-off 2021 for admissions to various courses. While Political Science, Physics, and a combination of BA programme is at 100%, English and Economics honors touched 99.75% this year.
As per the report by Hindustan Times, the Ramjas college first cut-off 2021 has been released. This year, the Ramjas college cut-off for three programmes - BA Political Science, BSc Physics, and a combination of BA Programme is 100%.
The Delhi University (DU) will follow an online admission process this year just like last year to admit students for the academic year 2021-22. The university will release the first cut-off list and DU admission 2021 date soon.

The women's college has been able to manage the first position in the prestigious NIRF ranking from the last four years consecutively. As per the report by The Indian Express, the Hansraj College 1st cut-off has been released for UG admissions. This year, the Hansraj College cut-off score for BSc Hons Computer Science is 100, while for admissions to BA Hons Economics and BCom Hons the cut-off score is 99.75.
The LSR College first cut-off is likely to remain same as the last year, as per the report by The Indian Express. The report quoted Suman Sharma, prinicipal of LSR College as saying that the cut-offs for undergraduate admissions are going to remain same as the last year. LSR College bagged the highest cut-off scores of 100 per cent for three courses in 2020.

DU's St. Stephen's College offer seats to the students on the basis of both cut-off marks and personal interview. 85 per cent weightage is given to the St. Stephen's College cut-off marks and 15 per cent to the performance of the candidates in the personal interview round. As many as 15 Delhi University colleges are planning to launch new courses and offer 600 more seats. The colleges will launch BA, BSc courses in English, computer science, journalism. Currently, DU offers around 70,000 UG seats at various affiliated colleges through merit-based admissions.

The DU colleges have been asked to submit their cut-off lists by 1 pm, as per the PTI report. Two colleges, Aryabhatta and Deshbhandu College have already released the DU first cut-off list 2021. The remaining colleges will announce the DU 1st cut-off soon on their websites.

The students may see as high as 100 per cent cut-off for Kirorimal College of Delhi University this year, "There are also students who have scored cent per cent marks and we might have to keep the cut-offs at 100 per cent," Vibha Chauhan, principal of Kirori Mal College told PTI.
This year, the candidates applying for DU admission 2021 to UG merit based programmes through ECA and sport category will be enrolled on the basis of their participation certificates. There will be no offline or online trials or competition this year, due to Covid-19 pandemic. The ECA category is given 15% concession in the DU cutoff.

The Ministry of Education has announced the NIRF ranking 2021 on September 9. Miranda House College has bagged the first position, as per the NIRF 2021 ranking. Out of top 10 NIRF colleges, five colleges, Miranda House (1), Lady Shri Ram College for Women (2), St. Stephen’s College (8), Hindu College (9) and Shri Ram College of Commerce (10) comes under Delhi University.

St. Stephen’s College has reopened its admission process for CBSE Class 12 students two days after the board announced the result for compartment exams held between August 25 and September 15. The St. Stephen’s College 2021 admission portal will be reopened till October 3 (3 pm). Only those students whose results were announced on Wednesday this week and meet the cut-off requirements (released on September 3) can apply for St. Stephen’s College admission 2021.

The DU cut-off is likely to rise higher this year in comparison to the yesteryear, as more than 70,000 students scored above 95 per cent marks in CBSE Class Class 12 result. DU's Rajdhani College principal, Rajesh Giri told PTI that the students will see a two per cent increase in cut-offs for all courses in comparison to the last year.

The Delhi University cut-off list is prepared using the DU’s best of four calculation that considers the marks obtained by the students in the Class 12th exam. The best of four methods of Delhi University include one language subject and three academic subjects filled up by the candidates during the registration process. The subjects must also include the one in which the candidate wishes to seek admission in.

Nearly 70,000 seats under various courses are up for grabs. Like last year, the DU admission process 2021 will be entirely online due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
One of the Delhi University colleges, St. Stephen’s College has already released its first cut-off list on September 4. In the first cut-off list of St. Stephen’s College 2021, the highest cut-off score was as high as 99.5 per cent for admission to BA Hons Economics (for humanities and commerce stream students).
