The University of Delhi (DU) has opened the second round of seat allocation under the Common Seat Allocation System for Postgraduate programmes (CSAS-PG) 2026. The second round of DU PG counselling began on June 22 and will continue until June 24.

According to the university, 2,964 fresh seat allocations have been made in the DU PG round 2 counselling. Candidates who have been allotted seats must complete the admission process within the prescribed timeline to secure their DU PG admission 2026.

Students who have been allotted seats in Round 2 will have to accept them by June 24. After accepting the seat, they are required to pay the admission fee by June 27. DU has said that if students miss any step or deadline in the admission process, their allotted seat will be cancelled.

The university has also uploaded the DU PG second-round allocation list and programme-wise minimum allocation scores on the postgraduate admission portal.

DU PG admission round 2 statistics

DU said that 3,399 candidates who were allotted seats in DU PG round 1 have chosen to freeze their PG admissions. Meanwhile, 2,448 students chose the upgrade option to get a seat in a higher-preference course or department.

The university also said that 2,303 students did not choose the freeze option or apply for an upgrade. Because of this, their DU PG admission status in the ongoing counselling process remains unclear.

DU releases minimum allocation scores

Along with the PG round 2 seat allotment list, DU has released the minimum scores needed for different PG courses and departments. The university said these scores apply only to the current round and may change because of seat withdrawals, cancellations, grievance decisions, or changes in seat availability.

For the unreserved category, the minimum score to get a seat in MA Economics was 253, while the minimum score for MA Applied Psychology was 248 in the first allocation round.
