NEW DELHI: The Delhi University has announced the DU second merit list 2022 for admission in UG programmes on October 31. DU 2nd seat allotment list 2022 is made available at the official website of DU CSAS - ugadmission.uod.ac.in or du.ac.in.
The DU 2nd merit list includes details of candidate ranks and seats assigned based on the programmes and colleges they have applied to. Delhi University allows candidates to accept their allotted seats from October 31 4:59 p.m. to November 1. DU seat allotment will be cancelled if candidates fail to accept their seats within the specified timeframe.

Once a seat is allocated in a particular round, candidates must accept the seat before the deadline. The college will then verify the candidate's eligibility and the uploaded documents. DU UG applications will be approved by the college against the second merit list on October 31 at 10 a.m. and will close on November 2 at 5 p.m. Candidates must pay their admission fees online by November 3.

Sign in using the CUET application number and password.
Enter the given captcha code, and click on the ‘Login’ button.
The candidate portal will open on the screen.
Now, check the second seat allotment and save it for future use.
As soon as the second allotment for DU 2nd seats is announced, colleges will verify the candidate's documents and eligibility criteria. In case of any doubt, the college may raise a query for the applicant on the CSAS portal. Delhi University programmes will be offered through CUET entrance test 2022 and the DU merit list will be prepared on the basis of CUET scores.

DU 1st merit list was published on October 19. In the first DU seat allotment, around 59,100 candidates have secured DU admission. Among them, more than 25 per cent of the candidates have opted for the ‘Freeze’ the seat option.
Once the admission against the second DU merit list 2022 is completed, Delhi university will display the list of vacant seats on November 4 at 5 PM. The mid-entry window and window to re-order higher preferences will be available from November 05, 10 am to November 07, 4.59 pm.
Candidates can accept the allotted seat from October 31, 10 am to November 1 by 4.59 PM. After this, the college will verify the submitted documents and approve the seat by November 2. The last date for online payment of admission fees by the candidates is November 3, till 4.59 pm.
In DU UG spot admissions, allocations will be done on the basis of the following criteria:
1. Availability of seats.
2. Program-specific merit.
3. Order of preference of college.
4. Category.
5. Any other allocation rules
For DU UG admission 2022, mid-entry will not be allowed for performance-based programs (B.A.(Hons) music, B.Sc physical education, health education, and sports), and ECA, sports supernumerary quota.
DU third seat allotment list will be published in online mode on November 10 at 5 PM. Candidates will be able to check the DU 3rd merit list from the official website of DU.

Once the candidate accepts the DU seat, the college will verify the following details and approve the seat.
1. Minimum eligibility of the candidate.
2. Program-specific eligibility of the candidate.
3. Subject mapping: UoD will consider only those CUET subjects in which the candidate has passed Class XII.
4. Validity and authenticity of documents/certificates submitted by the candidate.
50% of the seats in the minority colleges are for candidates belonging to the unreserved category and 50% of the seats are reserved for minority candidates.

A candidate who has taken an admission but wishes to withdraw can do so by paying a withdrawal fee of Rs. 1000.00 (non-refundable). The 'Withdraw' option is available on the candidates dashboard.
A candidate who has taken admission to the allotted seat and wishes to continue with it should submit a 'Freeze' request. The option to freeze the seat will be available on the candidate's dashboard. On opting for 'Freeze', the candidate will never be allowed to opt for 'Upgradation'.

Candidates who did not apply for CSAS 2022 within the designated time frame are eligible for the mid-entry window. There will be a non-refundable fee of Rs 1000 for the candidate. Only after all candidates who applied earlier and had higher scores than the lowest declared score have been allocated seats will these candidates be considered for allocation.

The University of Delhi has announced the DU 2nd merit list 2022 on October 31 at ugadmission.uod.ac.in.
DU CSAS application form 2022 was released on September 12 by the University of Delhi.
Admissions to DU colleges will be conducted in three rounds by the university's admissions authorities.
Candidates with a certain percentage in the qualifying test may be granted up to 3% relaxation in the DU cut off marks. Cut off marks are relaxed by 3% for candidates with 60% or higher in Math in the qualifying exam.
Candidates who did not apply for CSAS 2022 within the designated time frame are eligible for the mid-entry window. There will be a non-refundable fee of Rs 1000 for the candidate. Only after all candidates who applied earlier and had higher scores than the lowest declared score have been allocated seats will these candidates be considered for allocation.
Once the candidate accepts the provisionally allotted seat, the colleges will cross-check the eligibility and verify the application. The college may reject the application due to any of the following reasons -
1. Non-fulfillment of the minimum eligibility.
2. Not-fulfillment of program-specific eligibility.
3. Non-fulfillment of the subject-mapping criteria.
4. Invalid documents/certificates submitted by the candidate.
5. Failure to respond to the query(ies) raised by the college.

DU UG 2022 eligibility criterias are set by the admission committee. There is a minimum academic requirement and an age restriction in the DU CSAS eligibility criteria 2022. Different programmes of DU have different eligibility criteria.
The last date to accept the seat for DU 2022 admission against the first DU CSAS list is November 3.
In order to withdraw admission, candidates must select the withdraw option on the DU website and pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 1,000.
DU has released college-programme wise preference count for the ease of candidates. Through this feature, candidates can check the number of applicants who have opted for a particular programme in a college. This data will be updated every two hours.

DU second merit list 2022 will be out today at 5PM.
During the online approval process, college may raise a query for the candidate. Candidates must answer the questions within the stipulated time. To respond to the queries, the candidate will have to log in to the DU CSAS portal using the CUET application number and password.

Candidate who fails to accept the provisionally allocated seat in DU merit list within the stipulated timeline will have the allocated seat canceled and will not be allowed to appear in the further round of seat allocation.
Depending on the number of vacant seats, the university may announce more spot rounds after releasing the merit list against the spot round on November 20. Based on registration statistics, it has been observed that SC and ST candidates have ample opportunities to get into the University of Delhi.
Tie-breaking decisions are based on a combination of the following: the percentage of aggregate marks in the best three subjects in Class 12; the percentage of aggregate marks in the best four subjects in Class 12; the percentage of aggregate marks in the best five subjects in Class 12, as well as the candidate's age.

For DU UG admissions, DU has launched a Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS). The Delhi University CSAS portal allows candidates to check the simulated rank, seat allotment, admission status, and all other details related to DU admission 2022. The Delhi University offers UG courses through CUET. The marks obtained in the CUET UG are being considered for DU admissions.
The Delhi University will offer admission to UG courses in around 70,000 seats on the basis of DU cut off 2022.
As soon as the candidates have checked their result, they have to click 'accept allocation' tab. After receiving approval from the college principal, the candidate must pay the fees to confirm their admission. For future reference, candidates should take a printout of the acknowledgment receipt.

The Delhi University admissions are open for 79 UG programmes across 67 colleges, departments, and centres. The programmes include 206 combinations of BA courses.
