DU CSAS admission process will be held in two phases - phase 1 and phase 2. Today, the university will start the DU UG phase 1 application process for candidates who have appeared in the CUET UG exam. Candidates are required to submit personal, academic, and CUET UG-related details and documents.
Phase 2 of the DU CSAS admission will begin immediately after the National Testing Agency (NTA) will declare CUET UG results 2025. The DU CSAS admission portal, admission.uod.ac.in, has been activated.
The university will allocate the seats based on program-specific merit, category, and availability of seats. A total of 71,624 seats have been sanctioned for UG programmes. Through DU CUET counselling 2025, the university will complete admission for 79 UG programmes in 69 DU colleges and departments.

Delhi University has customised and improvised the CSAS portal to make it more accessible and user-friendly. This was done to avoid the mistakes made by students in previous years
The DU CSAS platform will have all relevant information on his/her dashboard, including unique cut-offs. “To avoid a situation wherein a candidate may make a mistake in putting his/her class XII/X marks, integer-based checks have been added. Checks have also been added on certain other fields such as on IFSC, Pincode etc,” the university said.
Class 10 marks may be used for breaking the ties, if need be, the university said.

“Mapping the correct CUET paper to Class 12 subjects will be an essential component. However, there will be no requirement of mapping General test. Upon correct mapping, only the Programs in which a candidate is eligible will be visible on the dashboard of the candidate,” the DU professor said.
“This means, the dashboard of every candidate customized for him/her to select only the programme + college combinations in which they are eligible,” it added.
The upgrade option has also been improved. If a candidate gets an upgraded seat, his/her upgraded seat will be auto-accepted. This means, the application will be auto directed to the desired college and the candidates are required to pay only the differential fee, if any.
The university has announced that it has reduced the timeline to complete the admission process in the shortest possible duration. If the seats do not get filled after spot round, the university may explore other methods and criteria to fill the seats optimally.
